De Aanleg

Herberg de Aanleg is a pleasant, small-scale business. We offer various stylish apartments and country houses, which are located in our green garden.

You’ll find Herberg de Aanleg in a unique location in the most northerly spot of Texel in the quiet village of De Cocksdorp. Our accommodations are surrounded by beautiful nature (bird) areas and are near the Wadden Sea and the lighthouse. In addition, you have the convenience of the village nearby – everything is within walking distance.

Our accommodations

We offer seven stylish apartments suitable for 2 to 4 people. The apartments are all different in terms of layout and design. In addition, we rent three family houses (8 people, 8 people and 5 people) in a newly built authentic Texel country house. This country house can also be rented in its entirety for a maximum of 25 people.

Our restaurant

Restaurant 'de Aanleg' is located in one of the oldest buildings in de Cocksdorp, and for many years and for many guests has been a favorite and familiar place. 

Our restaurant will be closed as of September 1, 2026.

It was our first time on Texel and we stayed in one of the family houses. It was perfect! There was plenty of room for the whole family and we were near the beach and the little town Cocksdorp with nice shops and cafes. The Aanleg restaurant was great too for lunch or dinner.
