Experience the real island feeling
The lighthouse is nearby and subtly shines its light over the village. In the case of a westerly wind, the waves of the North Sea can be heard. It’s a wonderful place to walk in peace along the wide sandy beach. Here you experience the real island feeling. From the lighthouse you have a beautiful view and, in clear weather, you can even see Vlieland (including bathing seals on the sandbanks).
